X-Men: First Class is One Class You Don’t Want to Skip (X-Men: First Class Review)

As usual when I write my movie reviews, I will try not to add any spoilers or take away from the movie. I am no critic, I am a paying fan that enjoys movies like everyone else. Now that I got that waste of lines out the way, X-Men: First Class is a MUST SEE for anyone that is an X-Men/Marvel/Comic fan. Period.

Right away, the movie felt like it was going to be good. To see the formation of the friendship between Magneto & Professor X is often a story only hardcore comic book fans know. The average fan, such as my self, knows bits & pieces of it. This movie definitely schooled me. In other words, you will learn how the X-Men named was formed, how the names came to be and a few other things that I don’t want to spoil.

This movie will explain the origin of Magneto & the origin of Professor X… Hmmm, yeah, I want to say more but I believe I could spoil things. SO any questions just ask below & I’ll see what I can answer. If you want a DEEEEPER read, I suggest reading Ipodman’s review of X-Men on his blog site.

Okay, wait, I must say, Lenny Kravitz daughter (Zoë Kravitz) is not WASP! She is TEMPEST aka Angel Salvadore. There is no WASP in this movie. LOL. I like all the characters in the movie, even the bad guys. Azazel’s character makes me want to see him and Nightcrawler have a battle. Havoc’s character is strong! If there is a next movie with Havoc in it, I hope he gets to use full potential.

It’s a go! Point Blank! I have not ran across anyone that has been disappointed with this movie… YET! Should you see this movie? Yes. If you can only see one movie right now & you haven’t seen any movie in the past 6 weeks that might still be available in theaters… I don’t care, see X-Men: First Class! (Fast Five would be the only other movie I would recommend).

Oh, for the gamers out there… There is a reference to the arcade classic “X-Men: Children of the Atom” in this movie. Its subtle, but if you ever wondered what this title was about, this movie kind of give you some context on it. Minor but cool!

    • Thank You Ipodman. I’ve seen your post on it. I can tell you went in deep! I agree with your rating of it as well! I didn’t read your Green Lantern post as I am going to see it this weekend.

I appreciate you coming over and commenting!

  2. Liked this movie alot.. To see Professor X and Magento as comrades and how that friendship was portrayed was done very well. As well as Morra McTagert was also good how she got brought into the whole speel of things. But I did dislike one thing though.. To think Victor Shaw’s character was put into the whole mix is a bit off… Nonetheless , i just might add to the collection. Very good post Mr. Nasty
